Chief Executive Officer
Luther Garcia has served as the President & CEO of ECS Global/Energy Conservation & Supply, Inc. (ECS) since he led its acquisition by Finnergy Global in the Summer of 2013. From 2010-2013 Mr. Garcia served as the CEO and co-founder of Finnergy USA. From 2005-2010 Mr. Garcia was a partner in Globant (GLOB:NYSE) where he helped deliver over $50 million in sales.
From 2003-2005 Mr. Garcia was the Global Head of Technical Architecture for Lastminute.com which delivered over $2 billion in annual sales of travel-related products in the U.K., France, Germany, Spain, and Italy. From 1999-2003, Mr. Garcia was a founding partner of Sophos Partners.
From 1996-1998, Mr. Garcia was Vice President of Engineering & Co-Founder of Grey Peak Technologies (GPT) a network integration technology company which was sold to US Web for $100 million dollars in 1998. From 1993-1996, Mr. Garcia provided technical security and network consulting to AT&T, Sprint, and Credit Suisse First Boston.
From 1988-1993, Mr. Garcia was a Cryptologist/PALADIN for the Naval Security Group at the National Security Agency (NSA) where he participated in a number of combat missions during Operations Desert Shield & Desert Storm.
Chief Operation Officer
Anthony is an experienced professional with Blue Chip and start-up experience primarily in technology and Professional Services operating throughout Europe and the U.S. He has wide ranging experience setting up and managing teams, both business and technical. He is the Co-owner and Chief Operating Officer of ECS Global. In 2009, he founded Finnergy UK, a Specialist LED lighting Solutions provider. Prior to this role, Anthony held the position of European Sales Director for Globant, a technology service provider, helping them grow to become one of the largest outsourcing providers in Latin America and the only IT services company from Argentina to list on the NYSE. Between 2003-2006, he held the position of Head of Technology for Lastminute.com/4business. Anthony’s early career started at Ernst and Young, followed by various Management Consulting roles at IBM. Anthony holds a degree from Edinburgh University in Chemistry and an MBA from Warwick business school.
Chief Development Officer
Leonard Pisano has served as Chief Development Officer of ECS Global since May of 2016. Prior to joining the ECS team, Len was founder and CEO of 8760 Inc. in 2008. In 2001, Len founded Maximum Performance Group, which provided turnkey energy management solutions, which merged into Lime Energy in 2005.
Len began his career at New York University in Facilities and Construction where he was involved in CHP operations, facility engineering, and facilities management. He also managed major mechanical and electrical projects, chiller plant upgrades, facility-wide BMS control system upgrades, elevator modernization programs, and comprehensive energy management projects.
Len holds an MBA in Finance and Management from the Leonard Stern School of Business, New York University, a Bachelor of Engineering in Marine/Mechanical Engineering, N.Y. Maritime College, and a Diploma in Construction Management, New York University Real Estate Institute. Len has a U.S. Coast Guard Third Assistant Engineer license, a NY City Refrigeration Engineers License, and a NY City Stationary Engineers License. He was honorably discharged from the United States Naval Reserve holding the rank of Lieutenant, J.G. in 1990.
Ricky Dweck has worked for ECS since 2009 where he is the Vice President. Ricky works to streamline and optimize the intra- and inter-team workflow at ECS. He also focuses on service delivery, customer satisfaction, and financial reviews to ensure that the entire company’s operations are working toward common goals. On a daily basis Ricky is responsible for overseeing lighting surveys, specifications, and project delivery. To date, Mr. Dweck has overseen 200 million square feet of projects in commercial properties including office buildings, universities, warehouses, hotels, hospitals, parking garages, retail spaces, and residential properties. Ricky is passionate about business and entrepreneurism. Prior to his work in the Energy Conservation field, he owned and operated his own “green” business refilling and remanufacturing ink and toner cartridges, as well as worked in foreign and domestic product sourcing and manufacturing.
Executive Vice President
James J. Scarpone currently serves as Executive Vice President and Board Member of ECS Global/Energy Conservation & Supply, Inc., since its acquisition by Finnergy Global in the summer of 2013. Mr Scarpone was cofounder of Finnergy USA.
Mr. Scarpone is a 1983 graduate of The Ohio State University with a B.S. in Microbiology.
In 1984, he founded Scarpone Financial Group, a provider of insurance and investment services. He continues working today as a partner and advisor.
Managing Director UK
Jerome Pilkington has served as a director of ECS Global since 2013 and is responsible for the UK operations of the business. Jerome has over 30 years experience of Board level management in SMEs across a broad range of sectors including property, import and export, manufacturing, and distribution.
Jerome has extensive account management experience, managing UK sales accounts such as Homebase, Toys 'R Us, Harrod's, Hamley's, and Walt Disney, and experience overseeing international relationships in USA, Germany, France, Italy, Scandinavia, Russia, and South Africa.
Before joining ECS, Pilkington was Managing Director of Flexifoil International, a kite and kite-surfing equipment manufacturer. The company was market leader in the UK and he was instrumental in turning the company round from loss to profit by decreasing stocks and overheads, expanding distribution, and increasing profit margins.
Co-Founder and Principal
Mr. Crespo founded ECS in 1995 with his father Robert with the goal of improving the bottom line for U.S. companies through energy conservation measures. Over the years, Mr. Crespo served as Project Manager, Vice President, and CEO. He designed and implemented upgrades for millions of square footage of retail, commercial, and industrial properties. Mr. Crespo is a native New Yorker who went to Regis High School and graduated from Duke University with a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology.
Lorenzo has established and helped develop a number of start-up businesses.

Lorenzo was educated at Ampleforth College and has an MBA from Henley Management College.
Greg Parker has over 20 years of technology experience, has founded 4 companies, has numerous first-to-market inventions, has filed 5 patents, and is holder of the patent for peer-to-peer networks. He has earned PhD degrees in Astrophysics, Computer Science, and Mathematics. Highlights include:

Chad MacDonald is the General Partner of Connected Ventures, LLC. He has become nationally recognized for his innovative and disruptive execution in the service management, distribution, procurement, financial services, and emerging technology sectors.
MacDonald began his career in the service management industry, while in college, he launched Advanced Maintenance Services (AMS). Over a five-year period, the business grew rapidly to be a dominant east coast-based Janitorial service provider with over 1,700 employees and $15 million in annual sales. AMS was sold in 1986 to a national support services company for $7+ million.
MacDonald then founded Service Management USA, Inc., which grew both organically and through strategic acquisitions to become one of the nation’s preeminent facilities management providers. The rapid market adoption was the result of the introduction of a technology-enabled facility outsourcing platform, which managed all property services and supply procurement. Chad’s vision and execution led Service Management USA, Inc. to become the platform company to raise $500M+, to affect the industry’s largest consolidation of service providers, and re-branded as Building One Services Corporation (NASDAQ: BOSS) in 1998. MacDonald was the driving force in this consolidation of more than 100+ janitorial, electrical and mechanical companies with more than $2 billion in revenue. BOSS ultimately became Encompass Services (NYSE: ESR) which was the largest facility services business which successfully generated over $4.8 billion with 330 operating companies under a single brand.
MacDonald then turned his attention to emerging service and supply chain technologies. As a lead investor and market maker in PurchasePro, (NASDAQ: PPRO), a leading enterprise spend management solution, he provided operational and financial direction which resulted in the 3rd most successful IPO in 2000. With the advent of new web-based technologies and the rapid changes occurring in “MRO” distribution/supply chain industry, MacDonald acquired NISSCO in 2000. NISSCO at that time was a $150 million group purchasing organization, under MacDonald’s leadership it has grown to represent more than $2.7 billion in managed spend and is one of the nation’s largest Jan/San procurement companies. During this transitional period of commerce, MacDonald was also a founding shareholder of Access National Bank, one of the original national federally chartered banks, and pioneers of online banking services. Access National Bank (NASDAQ: ANCX) went public in 2004.
MacDonald is an active member and past Chairman of the Young President Organization (YPO/WPO) for the U.S. Capital Chapter. His success throughout the years is continuously recognized by numerous and prominent organizations such as Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year (three separate companies), INC Magazine’s 500/5000, CNN/FN , Washington Post, Huffington Post, SmartCEO, and industry trade press/publications.
MacDonald serves on numerous corporate boards, and is passionately dedicated and has raised millions of dollars through his family’s foundation for the awareness, education, and advocacy to find a cure for Melanoma cancer, which took his wife’s life.
Ard Heynike has been an investor in, and advisor to ECS since 2013.
Ard has over 25 years of experience providing strategic decision support to senior executives and investors in small, medium, and large organizations globally.
Ard founded boutique strategy firms in South Africa and the UK but has also worked for Deutsche Bank CIB, Bain & Company, LEK Consulting, and the Mitchell Madison Group. Ard has a Masters in Management Science from the University of the Witwatersrand and is a Fellow of the Wharton School of Business.
